The Bengalee Association is organizing it's eagerly awaited and much-looked forward-to Annual picnic on the 7^th of January 2018.

 
Location
This time it is being arranged in a still being fully developed, yet totally comfortable property ( resort-cum- farmhouse ), populated with plenty of trees and greenery and located at the foothills of the picturesque Nandi Hills area. 

The picnic location is situated about 46 km from Mekhri Circle. Very comfortable driving in good road conditions.

 a)    33 km from Mekhri Circle or 30 km from the Hebbal Flyover or 11 km from the Bangalore Airport Toll Booths is the distance up to the Nandi Hills road entrance, where you turn left from the Bangalore-Hyderabad Highway towards Nandi Hills. Please look for the Nandi Upachar restaurant which is located on your right-hand side as the first building as you turn left off the Highway.

b)    A further about 10 km on the Nandi Hills Road, go past a Bharat Petroleum Petrol Pump – approx. 7 km from Nandi Upachar - until you reach an almost dead-end, a sort of a T-junction.

c)     In front of you, facing you on the left is Sri Lakshmi Venkateshwara Bakery on a Coca-Cola sponsored sign-board and facing you on the right is a restaurant – Sri Nandi Abhinandana Family Restaurant. There is a narrow kuccha lane between these two.

d)   That’s where you turn right. Roads to the left and right from this point are fully developed, tarred and in good condition. NOTE – PLEASE DO NOT TURN LEFT FROM HERE AS THE ROAD LEADS UPTO NANDI HILLS.  

e)    From this point where you turn right, on a comfortable, decent road, drive about 2.5 km till on the left you will find the entrance gate (yellowish with brown, rust color frames) to this property with our banners and signages.

Car Parking area
Comfortable, inside the property, dedicated and on the right after entering the main gate to this property. There will be signages guiding you to the car-park.

 Timings
This venue is available for us from 6.00 am till 6.00 pm.

 Menu
Breakfast: Radhaballavi and aalur dum.
Breakfast will be served only till 10.30 AM in order to start preparations for cooking for lunch.

Snacks- There will be Chicken bar-be-que and Jhaal muri.
Lunch- Rice, Vegetarian Torkari, Pathar Mangsho, Mishti,

On-site Soft drinks and beer will on a payment basis

Charges Rs. 300/-per person includes breakfast, snacks, and lunch.

Breakfast will be served only up to 10.30 am.

Children below 5 years are free of charges.

You are most welcome to join with family and friends and enjoy an enjoyable day together.

·        You are requested to register yourself for participation on or before the 1^st of January 2018 with full payment by cash only

·        Please appreciate, that for us to estimate quantities to avoid wastage, all confirmations and all payments may please come in latest by the evening of Monday, the 1^st of January 2018 .

·        Accordingly, please also appreciate that the last date for withdrawals is the evening of the 1^st of January 2018.
